ABF The Soldiers’ Charity annual Christmas Concert returns to Hereford Cathedral in all its glory on Tuesday 14 December at 7PM, with school choirs, bands and even a guest appearance by members of a former rock band.
“After such a break everyone is committed to get back to performing to the high standards we’ve come to admire and enjoy. This year we have our usual two school choirs, the Herefordshire Police Choir and Herefordshire Youth Concert Band. We will have a bright young soloist from Weobley School, Meg Reid. There will also be a guest appearance by John Lees, founder and leading member of the 1970s prog rock band, Barclay James Harvest. John last performed at the cathedral four years ago and this year he’ll be bringing two other members of the band to add to the galaxy of top flight performers.” - Mike Rowlatt
